DEP's mission is to reduce the digital divide and enable the benefits of digitalization to reach all Idahoans. The DEP devotes its resources and efforts to achieve its vision of an Idaho where all residents are prepared to lead and thrive in today’s digital economy and where communities across the state have the right economic and social conditions to support a fair digital transformation.
Our Impact
Data and Impact Reporting
DEP provides live data on program impact and enrollment. As well as digital access reports and resources as tools for local leaders working to build digitally resilient communities.
Resource Sharing
DEP offers a variety of resources to support internet access and digital skill development. Through partnerships with local, state, regional and national organizations, the DEP is able to bring additional resources to Idaho and unite with partners to address the digital divide.

Impact Statement
DEP is dedicated to enhancing digital access for Idahoans through various learning opportunities. These include basic digital skills, remote work training, and assistance for entrepreneurs and business owners to expand their sales through online platforms.
Internet Initiatives
DEP collaborates to expand affordable Internet access for all Idahoans, partnering with Link Up Idaho and American Connection Corps to reach and assist rural and underserved communities.
Volunteering and Collaborative Efforts
DEP partners with American Connection Corps to place AmeriCorps Members as Digital Navigators across the state to help empower local communities and Idahoans with digital skills, resources, and broadband access.
