  • How to Enroll

    1. Confirm Your Eligibility: Confirm your eligibility for the program by reviewing the Requirements for Enrollment.

    2. Submit Your Enrollment Form: Select your course dates and complete the course enrollment form.

    3. Purchase Your Spot: Once you submit your enrollment application, you will receive a link to purchase the course. Space is limited and enrollment will be granted on a first-come, first-served basis.

    4. Complete Registration: Once you have paid, a document will be available to download from the payment portal that includes a registration code to complete the registration process. It's essential to utilize this code to ensure you receive proper credit from UI Extension upon program completion and are not assessed a registration fee from our course partner Utah State University.

    5. Meet Your Program Coordinator: The week before your selected course starts, you will be contacted by your dedicated UI Extension program coordinator who will help you throughout the course.

    6. Create Your Canvas Account: A couple of days before your course begins you will receive an email from our program partner, Utah State University Extension (USU Online Courses), to create your Canvas account to participate in the class.

  • To enroll in the Remote Work Professional Certificate course, you need:

    1. Reliable Broadband Access: Your broadband (DSL, Cable, Fiber, etc.) should have a minimum speed of 8Mbps download and 2Mbps upload for video workshops. Check your internet speed via Imagine Idaho’s Speed Test website.

    2. Web Camera and Microphone: You must have a working laptop or desktop with a functional web camera and microphone. Tablets, smartphones, and Chromebooks are not supported.

    3. Basic Computer Proficiency: Success in this course requires proficiency in:

    • Sending emails with attachments.

    • Downloading/uploading files to/from your desktop.

    • Performing basic tasks in word processing and spreadsheet programs.

  • To successfully complete the course and earn the certificate, you will need to do the following:

    • Complete all of the modules, including any assignments contained within each module.

    • Pass each assessment with a minimum score of 80%.

    • Attend four interactive workshops.

    Upon successful completion of all requirements, you will be presented with a digital Certificate of Completion to add to your work portfolio and a digital badge that can be added to your LinkedIn profile.
