Build & Grow Your e-Business Course Workshop Series - Protecting Your Business with the Corporate Transparency Act
Join us for a one-hour Zoom workshop on the Corporate Transparency Act (CTA), hosted by the University of Idaho Extension's Digital Economy Program and facilitated by the University of Idaho Law Entrepreneurship Clinic.
The CTA is a new federal law requiring businesses to report their beneficial ownership information to the Financial Crimes Enforcement Network (FinCEN).
This workshop will provide an overview of the CTA's requirements. This law is critical for combating financial crimes like money laundering and fraud. Learn how the CTA impacts your business, why compliance is essential, and the steps you need to take to meet these new legal obligations. For individuals interested in establishing or refining their business presence in the digital marketplace. This course offers interactive modules covering vital areas like branding, online visibility, legal compliance, and website development.
